Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water and active dry yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Once the yeast is activated, add it along with olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.

  4. 4

    Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  5. 5

    Let Dough Rise

Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Assembling the Pizza

  1. 6

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) while the dough is rising.

  2. 7

    Roll Out Dough

After the dough has risen, punch it down and transfer it to a floured surface. Roll it out into a 12-inch circle.

  3. 8

    Add Red Sauce

Place the rolled-out dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet. Spread red sauce evenly over the surface.

  4. 9

    Add Cheese and Toppings

Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by the pepperoni slices. Finish with grated Parmesan cheese and dried oregano.

  5. 10

    Bake the Pizza

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

  6. 11

    Drizzle with Spicy Honey

Once the pizza is out of the oven, drizzle with spicy honey for an added kick.
