Method

Prepare the Fries

  1. 1

    Cook the Fries

Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the frozen fries package. Spread the frozen fries on a baking sheet in a single layer. Drizzle with vegetable oil and toss to coat evenly. Bake according to package directions until golden and crispy, usually about 20-25 minutes.

Make the Hot Honey Butter

  1. 2

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter until it’s fully liquid.

  2. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Once the butter is melted, stir in the honey, chili crisp, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are fully combined and heated through. Remove from heat.

Garnish the Fries

  1. 4

    Chop Scallions

While the fries are baking, finely chop the scallions, using both the white and green parts for maximum flavor.

  2. 5

    Assemble

Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and drizzle the hot honey butter generously over the fries. Toss the fries gently to ensure they are evenly coated.

  3. 6

    Add Final Touches

Sprinkle the chopped scallions and furikake over the top of the fries. Serve immediately.
