Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Place the salmon fillets in the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Asparagus

Trim the ends of the asparagus and rinse them under cold water. Pat dry and set aside.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 400°F (200°C).

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

  3. 5

    Grill the Asparagus

Toss the asparagus with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper. Grill for about 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally until tender and slightly charred.

Making the Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 6

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  2. 7

    Add Lemon Juice and Parsley

Remove the saucepan from heat, add lemon juice, parsley, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.
