Method
Preparation of Caramelized Apples
- 1
Caramelize the Apples
In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the sliced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are soft and caramelized. Remove from heat and set aside.
Roasting Walnuts
- 2
Roast the Walnuts
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, toss the walnuts with olive oil and salt. Spread them evenly on a baking sheet. Roast for about 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden and fragrant. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning.
Preparing the Salad
- 3
Prepare the Arugula
In a large bowl, combine the arugula, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Toss gently to coat the arugula evenly.
Assembly
- 4
Assemble the Dish
On a serving platter, place the warm burrata cheese in the center. Surround it with the caramelized apples and roasted walnuts. Serve the arugula salad on the side or on top of the burrata, as desired. Enjoy!
