Bacon Cheeseburger Preparation

Form the Burger Patties
In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the beef into two equal portions and form each portion into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center to prevent bulging during cooking.
- 3
Cook the Burger Patties
In the same skillet used for the bacon, increase the heat to medium-high. Add the burger patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and place a slice of American cheese on each patty. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness.

Assemble the Burgers
Toast the burger buns in the skillet for a minute or until lightly golden. On the bottom half of each bun, layer the lettuce, followed by the cooked burger patty with melted cheese and the crispy bacon. Add slices of tomato and onion on top, then finish with the top half of the bun.

Serve
Serve the bacon cheeseburgers immediately with your favorite condiments or sides.
