Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all the ingredients needed for the grilled cheese sandwich.

Butter the Bread
Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of each slice of bread.

Assemble the Sandwich
Place a slice of cheddar cheese between the unbuttered sides of the bread slices.

Flip and Grill
Carefully flip the sandwich using a spatula. Grill the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.

Remove the sandwich from the skillet, slice in half, and serve warm.

Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.

Soak the Potatoes
Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

In a large bowl, toss the dried potato strips with olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika until evenly coated.
