Method

Chicken Tenders

  1. 1

    Prepare Chicken

Cut the chicken breast into strips, about 1 inch wide.

  2. 2

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place the flour, beaten eggs, and bread crumbs mixed with salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip into the beaten eggs, and then coat with the bread crumbs. Ensure each strip is evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Heat Oil

In a large frying pan, heat oil over medium-high heat until hot (about 350°F/175°C).

  5. 5

    Fry Chicken Tenders

Carefully place the breaded chicken strips in the hot oil. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Fries

  1. 6

    Prepare Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips or wedges.

  2. 7

    Soak Potatoes

Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  3. 8

    Dry Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and pat them dry with paper towels.

  4. 9

    Heat Oil for Frying

In a deep frying pan or pot, heat oil over medium-high heat until hot (about 350°F/175°C).

  5. 10

    Fry Potatoes

Carefully add the potatoes to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels, then season with salt and black pepper.
