Method

Prepare the Eggs

    Boil the Eggs

    In a medium pot, bring water to a boil. Carefully add the eggs and boil for 10-12 minutes.

    Cool the Eggs

    Once cooked, transfer the eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes to cool down. Peel the eggs once cool.

Make the Filling

    Prepare the Egg Yolks

    Slice the peeled eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks into a mixing bowl, placing the whites on a serving platter.

    Combine Ingredients

    To the egg yolks, add the chopped bacon, aged cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mash together until smooth and well combined.

Assemble the Deviled Eggs

    Fill the Egg Whites

    Using a spoon or piping bag, fill each egg white half with the yolk mixture until heaping.

    Garnish

    Sprinkle the tops with paprika and garnish with chopped chives.
