Preparing the Batter

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.
Cooking the Pancakes

Preheat the Pan
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. You can lightly grease it with a little butter or cooking spray if desired.

Pour the Batter
Using a ladle or measuring cup, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Leave space between each pancake.

Cook the Pancakes
Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip the pancakes and cook until golden brown on the other side, about 1-2 minutes more.

Keep Warm
Transfer cooked pancakes to a plate and keep warm in a low oven (about 200°F or 95°C) while you cook the remaining batter.

Serve the pancakes warm with maple syrup drizzled on top. Add fresh fruits if desired.
