Preparation
- 1
Muddle Mint
In a sturdy glass, add the fresh mint leaves and lime juice. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press down on the mint leaves to release their oils, being careful not to shred them.
- 2
Add Rum and Syrup
Pour in the white rum and simple syrup over the muddled mint and lime mixture. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
- 3
Add Ice
Fill the glass with ice cubes, leaving some space at the top for soda water.
- 4
Top with Soda Water
Pour the soda water over the ice until the glass is full. Stir gently to combine all the flavors without losing the fizz.
- 5
Garnish
Garnish your mojito with a lime wedge and a sprig of fresh mint. Optionally, you can slap the mint sprig between your hands to release more aroma before adding it to the drink.
