Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This will ensure that the bacon cooks evenly.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Baking Sheet

Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easier cleanup. Place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet.

Bacon Preparation

  1. 3

    Mix the Coating

In a mixing bowl, combine the maple syrup, brown sugar, black pepper, garlic powder, and hot sauce. Stir until well mixed.

  2. 4

    Coat the Bacon

Take each slice of cherrywood smoked bacon and dip it into the coating mixture. Ensure each slice is fully coated, then place it on the wire rack.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Bake the Bacon

Place the baking sheet with the bacon in the preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and caramelized, checking occasionally to prevent burning.

  2. 6

    Cool and Serve

Once done, remove the bacon from the oven and let it cool on the rack for a few minutes. Serve warm as an appetizer or snack.
