Prepare the English Muffins
Cut the English muffins in half and toast them until they are golden brown. Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on each half and set aside.

Bring a pot of water to a gentle simmer. Add 1 tablespoon of vinegar to the water. Crack each egg into a small bowl, then slide it into the water.
