Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

Melt Butter
In a saucepan over low heat, melt 1 cup of unsalted butter. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and 2 cups of granulated sugar. Stir in 4 large eggs and 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract until well blended.

In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips.

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few crumbs. Let cool completely.

In a medium saucepan, mix 1 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder and 2 cups of granulated sugar.

Stir in 1 cup of heavy cream and 1 stick of unsalted butter. Heat over medium heat, stirring continuously until the mixture is smooth and thickened.
