Method

Preparation of Cured Meats and Cheeses

  1. 1

    Slice Cured Meats

Carefully slice the salami, prosciutto, and chorizo into thin rounds and arrange them on a large serving board.

  2. 2

    Cut Cheeses

Cut the brie, cheddar, and gorgonzola into wedges or cubes, and place them around the cured meats on the board.

Accompaniments

  1. 3

    Prepare Accompaniments

In small bowls, fill with mixed olives, candied nuts, Dijon mustard, and pickles. Arrange these bowls on the cheese and meat board.

Making House-Made Crackers

  1. 4

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, salt, and herbs. Stir until evenly mixed.

  2. 5

    Add Wet Ingredients

Add olive oil and water to the dry mixture. Stir until a dough forms. Knead lightly until smooth.

  3. 6

    Roll Out Dough

On a floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/8-inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes (triangles, squares, etc.).

  4. 7

    Bake Crackers

Place the shaped crackers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crisp.

Final Assembly

  1. 8

    Assemble the Cellar Board

Once the crackers are cooled, arrange them on the board alongside the cured meats, cheeses, olives, candied nuts, mustard, and pickles, ensuring an inviting display.
