Combine Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of Woodford Reserve Bourbon, 2 dashes of Angostura bitters, and 1 tsp of simple syrup.

Add Ice
Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes to chill the mixture.

Stir
Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled and diluted.

Strain
Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with a large ice cube or a few smaller ice cubes.
Garnishing

Add Luxardo Cherry
Garnish the drink with 1 Luxardo cherry by dropping it into the glass.

Add Orange Peel
Express the oils of 1 piece of orange peel over the drink by holding it over the glass and giving it a gentle twist, then drop it in as garnish.
