Brewing the Tea

Boil Water
In a medium-sized pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 tea bags. Let them steep for about 5 to 7 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea.

After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags and discard them.
Sweetening the Tea

If desired, stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar or 0.5 cup of honey into the hot tea until fully dissolved.
