Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

  2. 2

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and salt.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and add the activated yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

  4. 4

    Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  5. 5

    Let it Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Assembling and Baking

  1. 6

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and prepare a baking sheet or pizza stone.

  2. 7

    Roll Out Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.

  3. 8

    Add BBQ Sauce

Spread the BBQ sauce evenly over the rolled-out flatbread.

  4. 9

    Layer Toppings

Evenly distribute the smoked pork, bacon, pineapple chunks, cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and jalapeno slices over the sauce.

  5. 10

    Bake

Transfer the flatbread to the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden and the cheese is bubbly.

  6. 11

    Serve

Remove from the oven, let it cool for a minute, slice, and serve hot.
