Main Ingredients

Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and add the salmon fillets, coating them evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Asparagus

Trim the tough ends of the asparagus and rinse under cold water. Pat dry and set aside.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F or 190°C).

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on the grill skin-side down. Grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

  3. 5

    Grill the Asparagus

On a separate part of the grill or in a grill basket, place the asparagus. Grill for about 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and slightly charred.

Making the Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 6

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley, mixing well. Keep warm until ready to serve.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Place the grilled salmon on a plate alongside the grilled asparagus. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the salmon and serve immediately.
