Method

Cured Meats

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meats

Thinly slice the prosciutto, salami, and chorizo. Arrange them on a large serving board in an aesthetically pleasing manner.

Gourmet Cheeses

  1. 2

    Prepare the Cheeses

Cut the Brie into wedges, slice the Cheddar into cubes, and crumble the Gorgonzola. Place the cheeses on the board, leaving space between each type.

Accompaniments

  1. 3

    Arrange Accompaniments

Create small clusters of mixed olives, candied nuts, pickles, and a small bowl for mustard on the board. Make sure to position them around the meats and cheeses.

House-Made Crackers

  1. 4

    Make the Crackers

In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, olive oil, salt, and water. Mix until a dough forms. Roll out the dough to about 1/8 inch thickness and cut into desired shapes. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Allow cooling before adding to the board.

Final Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Charcuterie Board

Once all components are prepared, assemble the charcuterie board by arranging the meats, cheeses, accompaniments, and house-made crackers artfully on the board. Serve immediately.
