Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Patties
In a bowl, season the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the beef into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- 2
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until crispy. Once cooked, remove and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.
- 3
Cook the Patties
In the same skillet, cook the burger patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty to melt.
- 4
Toast the Buns
While the patties are cooking, split the burger buns and toast them lightly in the skillet until golden brown.
- 5
Assemble the Burger
Spread mayo and burger sauce on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Layer the cooked burger patties with melted cheese, followed by bacon, sliced onion, pickles, lettuce, and tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.
- 6
Serve
Serve the Malmstrom Burger immediately with your choice of sides.
