Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt.

  2. 2

    Cook Pasta

Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes, until al dente.

  3. 3

    Drain Pasta

Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside.

Preparing Vegetables

  1. 4

    Sauté Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  2. 5

    Add Vegetables

Add the sliced zucchini, diced bell pepper, halved cherry tomatoes, julienned carrot, and broccoli florets to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 6

    Mix Pasta and Vegetables

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Toss gently to combine.

  2. 7

    Season

Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the pasta and vegetables. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil, then toss everything together until well mixed.

Serving

  1. 8

    Plate and Serve

Serve the Pasta Primavera warm, garnished with additional basil and Parmesan cheese if desired.
