Method

Brisket Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Brisket

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Rub the seasoning mix all over the beef brisket.

  2. 2

    Slow Cook the Brisket

Place the seasoned brisket in a slow cooker and pour in the beef broth. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the brisket is tender and easily shredded.

BBQ Sauce Preparation

  1. 3

    Make the BBQ Sauce

In a saucepan, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Simmer over medium heat for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.

Pickles Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Pickles

Slice the cucumbers into rounds. In a bowl, mix white vinegar, sugar, salt, and dill until dissolved. Add the cucumber slices and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Sandwich Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Sandwiches

Once the brisket is cooked, shred it with two forks. Place a generous amount of shredded brisket on each sandwich roll. Top with BBQ sauce and pickles. Serve immediately.
