Prepare Cheddar Cheese Sauce

Add Flour
Whisk in the all-purpose flour, and cook for about 1-2 minutes until it turns a light golden color.

Add Milk
Slowly add the milk while whisking continuously to avoid lumps. Continue to cook until the mixture thickens, about 3-5 minutes.

Add Cheese and Seasonings
Reduce heat to low, then stir in the cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
Prepare Brisket

Chop Brisket
If not already done, chop the cooked brisket into small, bite-sized pieces.
Assemble Queso

Combine Ingredients
In a large serving bowl, combine the cheddar cheese sauce and the chopped brisket. Mix well until the brisket is evenly coated with the cheese sauce.

Serve the brisket queso warm with tortilla chips on the side for dipping.
