Cocktail

Method

Prepare Glass

1

Rim the glass

Pour Tajín® into a shallow dish. Optional: mix in 1/4 tsp coarse salt and stir. Run the lime wedge around the outside rim of a rocks or coupe glass, then dip rim into the Tajín® to coat evenly. Set glass aside to dry briefly.

Make Watermelon Purée (if not pre-made)

2

Cut about 2 cups of seedless watermelon into cubes. Place in a blender and blend until smooth. Strain purée through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl to remove pulp. Measure 3 oz (about 90 ml) for one cocktail.

Mix Cocktail

3

Add 2 oz Don Julio Blanco Tequila, 3 oz fresh watermelon purée, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice, and 0.5 oz organic agave nectar to a cocktail shaker.

4

Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup) and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is well-chilled and slightly frosted.

5

Fine-strain the cocktail into the prepared Tajín‑rimmed glass over fresh ice (or serve straight up in the coupe if preferred). Use a fine mesh strainer to remove any remaining pulp or ice shards for a smooth texture.

Garnish & Serve

6

Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim and a small watermelon wedge or thin wheel on a cocktail pick. Optionally, sprinkle a light pinch of Tajín® over the top of the drink for extra spice.

7

Serve immediately. Estimated single-serving yield: one 8–10 oz cocktail.
