1

Prepare honey syrup

If you don't have honey syrup prepared, combine equal parts honey and very hot water (by volume) and stir until fully blended. Cool to room temperature before use. (Make about 1/4 cup ahead; yields more than needed.)

2

Optional: rim glass

If you prefer a salted rim, rub a lime wedge around the outer edge of the serving glass, then dip the rim into a shallow dish with coarse salt. Set glass aside.

3

Combine ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz Dos Primos® Reposado Tequila, 0.75 oz Triple Sec, 0.75 oz fresh lime juice, 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice, 0.5 oz honey syrup, and 0.25 oz organic agave nectar.

4

Add ice and shake

Fill the shaker with ice (about 1 cup) and shake vigorously for 12–15 seconds, until the shaker is well chilled and slightly frosted.

5

Prepare serving glass

Fill the serving glass with fresh ice (about 1/2 cup).

6

Strain and serve

Double-strain the shaken cocktail into the prepared glass over fresh ice to remove any small ice shards and foam. Use a julep or fine mesh strainer in addition to the shaker's built-in strainer for a clean pour.

7

Garnish

Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim. Serve immediately.

Notes

Adjust sweetness by adding or reducing honey syrup or agave nectar to taste. If you prefer a more tart drink, increase lime juice by 0.25–0.5 oz. To batch for a party, multiply ingredient quantities by the number of servings and stir with ice in a large pitcher; strain into glasses over ice.
