Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pappardelle noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Cook the Steak
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak strips with salt and pepper. Add the steak to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes, until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- 3
Sauté the Mushrooms and Garlic
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for 5-6 minutes until they are golden brown. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- 4
Make the Garlic Cream Sauce
Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Allow the cream to simmer for about 3 minutes. Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 5
Combine and Serve
Add the cooked steak and pappardelle noodles to the skillet, tossing to coat everything evenly in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
