Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Ingredients

Slice the andouille sausage into rounds, chop the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces, and prepare the shrimp by ensuring they are peeled and deveined. Chop the bell peppers and onion into small pieces.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Sauté the Protein

In a large skillet over medium heat, add a tablespoon of creole butter. Add the sliced andouille sausage and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Then add the chicken pieces and cook until no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Finally, add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove the protein from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 4

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of creole butter. Add the chopped onion and bell peppers, sautéing until they are soft and slightly caramelized, about 5-6 minutes.

  3. 5

    Combine Everything

Return the cooked protein to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Add the cooked pasta and the remaining creole butter. Stir well to combine. Season with salt, black pepper, and Cajun seasoning to taste. Heat through for another 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated.
