Assemble the Melt
On the unbuttered side, layer 2 oz of turkey, 1 slice of American cheese, and 1 slice of bacon. Spread 2 tablespoons of tomato onion jam on top. Top with another slice of American cheese and a second slice of Texas toast (buttered side facing out). Repeat for the second sandwich.

Serve
Once the sandwiches are done, remove from heat. Spread the mashed avocado on top of the sandwiches before cutting in half to serve.
Parmesan Fries Preparation

Cook the Fries
Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the frozen French fries package. Spread the fries on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.

Bake the Fries
Bake the fries in the preheated oven according to the package instructions, usually around 20-25 minutes or until crispy.

Add Parmesan
In the last 5 minutes of baking, remove the fries from the oven and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top. Return to the oven to finish baking.
