Hot Brown Sandwich
Parmesan Herb Fries
Method
Hot Brown Sandwich Preparation
- 1
Assemble the Sandwich
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). On a slice of panini bread, layer the sliced turkey evenly. Add the sliced tomato over the turkey, followed by the crumbled bacon.
- 2
Add Mornay Sauce
Pour the mornay sauce generously over the layered sandwich, ensuring it covers all the ingredients evenly.
- 3
Top with Parmesan Cheese
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the mornay sauce.
- 4
Bake the Sandwich
Place the assembled sandwich on a baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
Parmesan Herb Fries Preparation
- 5
Prepare the Fries
While the sandwich is baking, prepare the fries according to the package instructions. Typically, this involves preheating your oven to the temperature indicated on the fries packaging.
- 6
Season the Fries
In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked fries, olive oil, dried Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Toss until the fries are well-coated.
- 7
Bake the Fries
Spread the seasoned fries on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 15-20 minutes until they are crispy and golden brown.
- 8
Add Parmesan
In the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the fries and return to the oven until melted.
