Garlic Maple Syrup

Method

Waffles

    Prepare the Batter

    In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.

    Mix Wet Ingredients

    In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the buttermilk and melted butter. Mix well.

    Combine Mixtures

    Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.

    Cook the Waffles

    Preheat the waffle iron and spray with non-stick spray. Pour the batter into the iron and cook according to the manufacturer's instructions until golden brown.

Garlic Maple Syrup

    Heat the Syrup

    In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

    Add Garlic

    Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

    Combine with Maple Syrup

    Stir in the maple syrup and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Brunch Potatoes

    Preheat Oven

    Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

    Prepare the Potatoes

    In a large bowl, toss the diced potatoes with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

    Roast the Potatoes

    Spread the potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast for 25-30 minutes or until golden and crispy, stirring halfway through.

Nashville Hot Sauce (optional)

    Combine Ingredients

    In a small bowl, combine cayenne pepper, brown sugar, garlic powder, paprika, and vegetable oil.

    Stir until well combined and let it sit for 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
