Method

Meats Preparation

  1. 1

    Slice the Meats

Using a sharp knife, thinly slice the prosciutto, salami, and chorizo. Arrange them on a large platter.

Cheese Preparation

  1. 2

    Cut the Cheese

Cut the brie and cheddar into wedges and crumble the blue cheese. Place the cheese selections around the meats on the platter.

Jam Placement

  1. 3

    Add the Jam

Spoon the fig jam into a small bowl and place it on the platter. This will provide a sweet contrast to the meats and cheeses.

Pickled Vegetables Arrangement

  1. 4

    Arrange the Pickles

Place the pickled cucumbers, carrots, and red onions in small bowls or directly on the platter, providing a tangy crunch.

Crostini Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Crostini

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices. Place on a baking sheet, brush lightly with olive oil, and bake for about 5-7 minutes until golden and crispy.

Final Assembly

  1. 6

    Assemble the Board

Once all components are prepared, arrange the sliced meats, cheeses, pickled vegetables, and crostini on a large wooden board. Serve with the fig jam on the side.
