Burger Patties

Toppings

Method

Prepare the Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Mixing Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix gently with your hands until just combined to avoid overworking the meat.

  2. 2

    Forming Patties

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing while cooking.

Cook the Burger Patties

  1. 3

    Grilling

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes.

  2. 4

    Adding Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover with a lid to melt the cheese.

Prepare Toppings

  1. 5

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon strips until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  2. 6

    Slice Vegetables

Slice the tomato and red onion into rings. Rinse the lettuce leaves and set aside.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 7

    Building the Burger

On the bottom half of each bistro bun, spread mayonnaise, followed by a lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, a cooked patty with melted cheese, bacon strips, red onion rings, pickles, and a drizzle of ketchup and mustard.

  2. 8

    Completing the Burger

Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately with your favorite side.
