Cooking the Beef
- 1
Brown the Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
- 2
Add Seasoning
Once the beef is browned, drain any excess grease. Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer.
- 3
Simmer
Reduce the heat to low and let the beef mixture simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens.
Assembling the Tacos
- 4
Prepare Taco Shells
Warm the soft taco shells in a microwave or on a skillet for about 30 seconds to make them pliable.
- 5
Fill the Tacos
On each taco shell, spoon in an equal portion of the seasoned beef mixture, followed by shredded lettuce and shredded cheese.
- 6
Add Toppings
Top each taco with a dollop of sour cream and a spoonful of salsa as desired.
- 7
Serve
Serve the tacos immediately while warm, and enjoy your delicious beef tacos!
