Baha Fish Ingredients

Method

Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Slaw

In a large bowl, combine green cabbage, grated carrot, chopped cilantro, and sliced green onions. In a separate small bowl, mix mayonnaise, lime juice, sugar, and salt. Pour the dressing over the slaw and toss to combine. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Make the Avocado Lime Crema

In a blender, combine ripe avocado, sour cream, lime juice, garlic powder, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Fish

In a bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Gradually add beer (or sparkling water) until the batter is smooth. Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.

  4. 4

    Fry the Fish

Dip fish fillets into the batter and carefully add them to the hot oil. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Tacos

Warm the corn tortillas. Place fried fish on each tortilla, top with sweet slaw, and drizzle with avocado lime crema. Serve immediately.
