Instructions for Almond Tiramisu
1. Prepare the Cream Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond cream, mascarpone cheese, rum, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
2. Dip the Ladyfingers
Dip each ladyfinger into the cooled espresso coffee for about 1-2 seconds, making sure not to soak them. They should be moist but not falling apart.
3. Layer the Tiramisu
In a rectangular dish, layer half of the dipped ladyfingers at the bottom. Spread half of the almond cream mixture over the ladyfingers. Repeat with another layer of dipped ladyfingers and the remaining almond cream mixture.
4. Chill
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
5. Serve
Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder and garnish with sliced almonds. Cut into squares and enjoy!
