Chill the Glass
Begin by chilling an old-fashioned glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and letting it sit while you prepare the drink.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine Tattersall Rye Select Barrel, J. Carver Brickyard, and turbinado syrup.

Add Bitters
Add 2 dashes of Trinity Bitters to the mixing glass.

Stir with Ice
Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir the mixture for about 30 seconds until well chilled.
Serving

Strain into Glass
Empty the ice water from the chilled old-fashioned glass. Using a strainer, pour the mixture from the mixing glass into the old-fashioned glass over a large ice cube.

Garnish
Express the oils from a slice of orange peel over the drink and then drop it into the glass. Add a maraschino cherry on top for garnish.
