Chicken Meatballs

Rosa Sauce

Garlic Cream Sauce

Method

Chicken Meatballs

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meatball Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Meatballs

Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter. Place the formed meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 3

    Bake the Meatballs

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until they are cooked through and golden on the outside.

Rosa Sauce

  1. 4

    Sauté the Aromatics

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for 5 minutes until soft. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

  2. 5

    Simmer the Sauce

Stir in the crushed tomatoes, heavy cream, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Reduce the heat to low and let the sauce simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. 6

    Combine with Meatballs

Once the meatballs are done baking, gently add them to the rosa sauce and let them simmer together for an additional 5 minutes.

Garlic Cream Sauce

  1. 7

    Make the Garlic Cream Sauce

In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  2. 8

    Add Cream and Cheese

Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

  3. 9

    Serve

Serve the baked chicken meatballs topped with rosa sauce and garlic cream sauce, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
