Gather Ingredients
Make sure you have all the ingredients: tequila, orange juice, grenadine, and optional garnishes like an orange slice and maraschino cherry.

Fill the Glass
Take a tall glass (preferably a highball or hurricane glass) and fill it with ice cubes until it's about three-quarters full.

Add Tequila
Pour 2 oz of tequila over the ice in the glass.

Add Orange Juice
Pour 4 oz of orange juice into the glass over the tequila. Stir gently to mix the ingredients slightly.

Garnish
If desired, garnish with an orange slice on the rim of the glass and place a maraschino cherry on top.
