Prepare the Ingredients
Finely chop the onion and mince the garlic cloves.

Cook the Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.

Season the Beef
Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer and let cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.

Warm the Tortillas
In a dry skillet over medium heat, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

Fill the Tacos
Place a portion of the seasoned beef mixture onto each warm tortilla.

Add Toppings
Top the beef with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, a dollop of sour cream, and salsa.

Serve
Fold the tortillas over the filling and serve immediately while warm.
