Wings

Teriyaki Sauce

Method

Preparing the Wings

  1. 1

    Season the Wings

In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and baking powder. Toss until the wings are well coated.

  2. 2

    Bake the Wings

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the seasoned wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden brown.

Making the Buffalo Sauce

  1. 3

    Melt the Butter

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter until fully melted.

  2. 4

    Combine Ingredients

Add the hot sauce, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and honey to the melted butter. Stir until well combined and heated through.

Making the Teriyaki Sauce

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a saucepan, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, minced ginger, and minced garlic. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves and the sauce thickens (about 5-7 minutes).

Coating the Wings

  1. 6

    Toss Wings in Sauce

Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven. Divide the wings into two portions and toss one half in the Buffalo sauce and the other half in the Teriyaki sauce until evenly coated.
