Preparing the Batter

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing; a few lumps are okay.
Cooking

Preheat the Pan
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.

Pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto the preheated skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
