Method

Marinating the Steaks

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Steaks

Place the T-bone steaks in a large resealable bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours for best flavor.

Cooking the Steaks

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F or 232°C).

  2. 4

    Remove the Steaks from Marinade

Take the marinated T-bone steaks out of the refrigerator and discard the marinade.

  3. 5

    Grill the Steaks

Place the steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time according to your desired doneness.

  4. 6

    Rest the Steaks

Once cooked to your preference, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.

Preparing the Sides

  1. 7

    Bake the Potatoes

While the steaks are marinating, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash the baked potatoes, poke several holes in them with a fork, and wrap them in foil. Bake for about 45-60 minutes or until tender.

  2. 8

    Prepare the Asparagus

Bring a pot of water to boil. Add the fresh asparagus and blanch for about 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Drain and toss with butter, salt, and black pepper.
