Method

Beef Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steaks

Rub the T-bone steaks with olive oil on both sides. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt evenly over the steaks. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F to 500°F).

  3. 3

    Grill the Steaks

Place the marinated steaks on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached. Use a meat thermometer for best results.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steaks

Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Sides

  1. 5

    Bake the Potatoes

While the steaks are grilling, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Wash the baked potatoes thoroughly, prick them with a fork, and wrap them in aluminum foil. Bake for about 45-60 minutes until tender.

  2. 6

    Prepare the Toppings

While the potatoes are baking, prepare the toppings. Mix the butter and sour cream together in a bowl and chop the chives.

Vegetable Medley

  1. 7

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and cut the asparagus into 2-inch pieces and slice the bell peppers into strips.

  2. 8

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the asparagus and bell peppers, season with salt and black pepper, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
