Method

Turkey

  1. 1

    Prepare the Turkey

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Rinse the turkey breast under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels. Rub the turkey with olive oil, then season with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Roast the Turkey

Place the turkey breast on a roasting pan and insert it into the preheated oven. Roast for about 1 to 1.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

Gravy

  1. 3

    Make the Gravy

While the turkey is roasting, collect the drippings from the roasting pan. In a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the flour and drippings until smooth. Gradually add the chicken broth, stirring until thickened. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Stuffing

  1. 4

    Prepare the Stuffing

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced celery and onion, cooking until softened (about 5 minutes). Combine the cooked vegetables with the stuffing mix and chicken broth in a large bowl. Stir until moistened.

  2. 5

    Bake the Stuffing

Transfer the stuffing mixture to a baking dish and cover with foil. Bake in the oven alongside the turkey for about 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.

Mashed Potatoes

  1. 6

    Cook the Potatoes

Place the peeled and cubed potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

  2. 7

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Broccoli

  1. 8

    Cook the Broccoli

In a medium pot, bring water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and cook for about 3-5 minutes until tender but still bright green. Drain and immediately toss with butter and salt.
