Prepare the Chicken
Cut the chicken breasts into strips about 1 inch wide. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika, and set aside.
- 2
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Coat each chicken strip in flour, shaking off the excess. Dip it into the egg, then press it into the breadcrumbs until fully coated.
- 4
Heat Oil
In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- 5
Fry the Chicken
Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil, frying in batches if necessary. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.

Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the russet potatoes, then cut them into thin strips (about 1/4 inch thick).

Heat Oil for Frying
In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat the cooking oil over medium-high heat until hot.
