Additional Ingredients

Method

Preparation of Sea Scallops

  1. 1

    Clean the Scallops

Rinse the sea scallops under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Preparing Garlic Crumbs

  1. 3

    Make the Garlic Crumbs

In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, minced garlic, olive oil, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the breadcrumbs are coated.

Preparing Herb Stuffing

  1. 4

    Prepare the Herb Stuffing

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the herbs and sauté for about 1 minute. Then add chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Remove from heat and stir in the garlic crumbs.

Stuffing and Baking

  1. 5

    Stuff the Scallops

Place a spoonful of the herb stuffing mixture onto each scallop and arrange them in a baking dish.

  2. 6

    Add Lemon Juice and Wine

Drizzle the lemon juice and white wine over the stuffed scallops.

  3. 7

    Bake the Scallops

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the scallops are opaque and cooked through.

Cooking Side Dishes

  1. 8

    Prepare Baked Potatoes

While the scallops are baking, wash the potatoes and pierce them with a fork. Bake in the oven (you can use the same oven if space allows) for about 45 minutes until tender.

  2. 9

    Steam Broccoli

In a steamer basket over boiling water, steam the broccoli florets for about 5-7 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
