Cocktail Preparation

Begin by chilling a rocks glass by filling it with ice water. Set aside while preparing the cocktail.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of Maker's Mark 46 Bourbon, 1 oz of sweet vermouth, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.

Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes (about 1 cup) to chill the mixture.

Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.
