Prepare the Bruschetta Topping

Chop the Tomatoes
Dice the Roma tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Add the Basil and Garlic
Chop the fresh basil leaves and mince the garlic cloves. Add both to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Season the Mixture
Add olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper to the tomato mixture and stir gently to combine. Allow it to marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Add the Mozzarella
Cube the mozzarella cheese and gently fold it into the marinated tomato mixture.
Prepare the Bread

Slice the Bread
Cut the baguette or Italian bread into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Toast the Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the bread slices on a baking sheet, brush both sides with olive oil, and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.
Assemble the Bruschetta

Top the Toasted Bread
Remove the toasted bread from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Spoon the marinated tomato and mozzarella mixture generously onto each slice of toasted bread.

Serve
Arrange the bruschetta on a serving platter and serve immediately while the bread is still warm.
