Method

Omelet Preparation

  1. 1

    Whisk Eggs

In a mixing bowl, crack 3 large eggs and add 2 tablespoons of milk, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. Whisk together until well combined and frothy.

  2. 2

    Cook the Omelet

Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once the butter is melted and bubbling, pour in the egg mixture.

  3. 3

    Add Toppings

As the edges of the omelet begin to set (about 1-2 minutes), sprinkle your choice of three toppings evenly over one half of the omelet.

  4. 4

    Fold and Finish Cooking

Gently fold the other half of the omelet over the toppings and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until the omelet is fully set and slightly golden.

  5. 5

    Serve

Carefully slide the omelet onto a plate and keep warm while you prepare the salsa and sides.

Signature Salsa Preparation

  1. 6

    Combine Ingredients

In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of diced tomatoes, 1 tablespoon of chopped onion, 2 tablespoons of chopped cilantro, and 1 tablespoon of lime juice. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and mix well.

  2. 7

    Chill

Let the salsa sit for at least 10 minutes for the flavors to meld before serving.

Side Preparation

  1. 8

    Choose Your Side

Select one of the following sides: 2 slices of toast, 1 cup of fruit salad, or 1 cup of hash browns, and prepare accordingly.
