Cocktail
- 1
Combine and chill
Add The Botanist gin (1 oz), sakura blossom vermouth (1 oz), Campari (1 oz), cherry or maraschino liqueur (0.25 oz), fresh lemon juice (0.25 oz), and 2 dashes cherry bitters into a mixing glass or shaker filled halfway with ice.
- 2
Stir
Stir the mixture briskly with a bar spoon for 25–30 seconds (about 20–30 rotations) until well chilled and slightly diluted. Aim for a silky, slightly viscous texture—this is a spirit-forward, stirred cocktail, not shaken.
- 3
Prepare glass
Place a large ice cube or ice sphere into a chilled Old Fashioned glass (rocks glass). If you prefer, chill the glass beforehand in the freezer for a few minutes.

Skewer or drop one Luxardo maraschino or Amarena cherry into the drink alongside the twist. If using an edible cherry blossom or micro herbs, gently place it on top of the ice for a decorative, sakura-inspired finish.

Optional: Add a final tiny dash of cherry bitters on the surface for fragrance and an extra accent of cherry.
